High-Strength Alloy Steel Driveshafts
For applications where 300M/S155 is not required, Satchell Engineering also manufactures competition driveshafts from high-strength, through-hardening alloy steel.

This provides an excellent combination of strength, toughness and durability, making it a cost-effective choice for a wide range of rally, race, hillclimb, sprint and other motorsport applications.

As with our 300M/S155 shafts, each driveshaft is manufactured in-house from bare bar, including all machining and spline production, before being professionally heat treated by a well-respected UK heat-treatment company.

Because we manufacture our driveshafts in-house from bare bar, we are not restricted to standard production applications. We can manufacture bespoke driveshafts to suit virtually any vehicle, gearbox, differential, hub or CV joint combination.
Whether you require a replacement competition shaft, a custom length for a modified track width, or a completely bespoke drivetrain installation, we can manufacture the shaft to suit your application.

What We Need From You

To manufacture your bespoke driveshafts accurately, we require either dummy driveshaft bars to copy or accurate measurements of the required finished shaft lengths.

To reproduce the correct spline profiles, we will also require one inner and one outer CV joint. Alternatively, just the female splined centre sections from the CV joints can be supplied.

Using these components and dimensions, we can manufacture your new driveshafts to the required length, spline configuration and material specification.
